BEQI Privacy Policy

BEQI is designed to improve early childhood education quality while protecting privacy by default. The platform does not collect personally identifiable data about children.

BEQI is used by governments, organizations, and researchers globally and is designed to meet high standards for data protection and ethical use.

    By default, the platform limits data visibility through role-based access controls and prioritizes the use of aggregated or anonymized data wherever possible.

  • Personal Data (Adults Only):

    Non-Personal Data:

    • BEQI is designed to support educator learning and classroom improvement, not evaluation or enforcement

    • Users must protect children’s rights and privacy, including obtaining consent before sharing any photos or videos

    • The platform should be used only for professional and appropriate purposes

    • Educators and observers are responsible for using the tool ethically and following training and consent requirements

    • Data may be used for feedback, improvement, and aggregated research, but not for marketing

    • By using BEQI, users agree to follow these terms and the BEQI Privacy Policy

  • BEQI is designed to support educators and education systems by providing practical guidance, feedback, and tools to improve classroom practices.

    The platform is intended for professional learning and improvement, not evaluation or enforcement.

  • Users must ensure that children’s rights and privacy are protected at all times.

    Users must ensure that:

    • No photos or videos of children are collected or uploaded without appropriate parental or guardian consent

    • All activities comply with applicable child protection and privacy standards

    Observation data may be accessed by the user’s organization and ECD Measure for improvement and research purposes.

    • Attempt to misuse, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the platform

    • Use the platform for purposes unrelated to education or improvement

  • Data collected through BEQI may be used to:
